Alexandrian Market Names Ramadan Dates & Nuts After Palestinian Cities
In solidarity with Palestine, the vendors at Mansheya Market displayed their Ramadan dates and nuts with Palestinian flags.

Amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, vendors at Alexandria’s Mansheya Market have given new names to their Ramadan dates and nuts in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Along with Palestinian flags, each kind of Ramadan date and nut, including the Yameesh – a traditional selection of dried raisins, prunes and roasted nuts - was given a new label emblazoned with the name of a city in Palestine, like Ramallah, and Gaza.
