Bachelor of Technology Programmes Introduced at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi
The university is hoping to prepare the next generation of Emirati engineers to meet the technological challenges of the future.
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Abu Dhabi (IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi) has announced its first Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes.
The programmes - Energy Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering - are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to make real change in a range of industries, tackle energy demands, develop critical software for the future and shape the new digital age.
The BTech in Energy Engineering offers a variety of engineering verticals to suit different interests, with a focus on sustainability in energy production and management. The BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, however, combines theory and practice, focussing on AI and machine learning. The goal is to establish proficiency in abstraction, computational thinking and high-level problem-solving.
