Bassem Youssef Returns to Egyptian Screens With ON TV

Egyptian broadcaster ON TV has announced that satirist and media figure Bassem Youssef will appear in a special series of interviews on the program Kalema Akheera with host Ahmed Salem. The series is set to air starting October 7th, 2025, marking Youssef’s return to Egyptian and Arab television.

According to ON’s statement, the episodes will delve into Youssef’s professional and personal journey, from his rise in Egypt to his years in the United States, while also offering behind-the-scenes stories and reflections shared for the first time on Egyptian TV.
