Billionaire Samih Sawiris to Perform Live at Cairo Opera House
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Egyptian Red Crescent to support refugees from Gaza.

Egyptian billionaire Samih Sawiris will be showing off his piano skills with a live performance at the Cairo Opera House on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at 8:00 PM. The concert will feature the Egyptian Philharmonic Orchestra, with Swiss guest conductor Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer and music director Ahmed El-Saedi.
The programme includes classical works by composers such as Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Saint-Saëns, and Joja Wendt, as well as performances by The Nour and Amal Chamber Orchestra. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Egyptian Red Crescent to support refugees from Gaza.
In January 2023, Samih Sawiris held his first performance alongside the Swiss Orchestra to raise funds for the Sawiris Foundation's Schools for Egypt project.
