Bottled Water Brand Nova Signs Recycling Partnership With SIRC
The partnership will roll out reverse vending, awareness campaigns and material recovery programmes in Saudi Arabia
Saudi bottled water brand Nova, owned by Health Water Bottling Company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) to collaborate on recycling and waste reduction initiatives in Saudi Arabia.
SIRC, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, provides recycling infrastructure and circular economy solutions across the Kingdom.
The agreement sets out a long-term collaboration focused on improving material recovery, increasing recycling rates and supporting the development of a more resource-efficient economy.
Planned initiatives include reverse vending machines, recycling awareness campaigns and waste diversion programmes, alongside efforts to encourage responsible consumption.
Nova said the partnership builds on its sustainability measures, including the introduction of bottles made from 100% recycled plastic. The company is also working with the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification on a programme to plant 200,000 trees by 2030.
