Chinese Companies in Egypt Donate EGP 1 Million for Ramadan
Over the years, the charity event has managed to amass 10 thousand Ramadan gift boxes that aided 40 thousand underprivileged families.

With only a few weeks left 'till Eid El Fitr rings around, it looks like Egypt has just received quite the heart-warming gift. During its eighth edition, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce's Ramadan charity event raised a whopping one million Egyptian pounds from over 30 Chinese companies in Egypt.
Over the years, the charity event has managed to amass 10 thousand Ramadan gift boxes that aided 40 thousand underprivileged families. The Egyptian Society for Integrated Development will distribute these gift boxes across the nation, while the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt, Liao Liqiang, praised the initiative as a seal of friendship between the two nations.
