Citizens of 87 Countries Now Qualify for Visa on Arrival in the UAE
Those who are eligible for this visa can stay in the UAE for 30 days upon arrival, with an additional 10-day grace period.
The UAE has updated its visa on arrival list, making the country more accessible than ever before. Now, citizens from 87 countries will be able to enter the Emirates without having first obtained a pre-entry visa. This update to the UAE’s visa exception policy is an initiative to simplify travel for tourists. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that this will make the UAE more accessible to travellers from around the globe.
Those who are eligible for this visa are able to stay in the UAE for 30 days upon arrival, with an additional 10-day grace period. Citizens from some countries are able to obtain a 90-day visa on arrival.
With this new regulation, nationals from 110 countries will still need to obtain a visa prior to entering the Emirates. Details on which nationalities are eligible to obtain a visa on arrival can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
