Classic Taxi Takes Tourists Through Ras Al Khaimah's Heritage Spots

The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority has introduced a classic taxi service aimed at offering visitors a heritage-inspired travel experience while expanding transport options across the emirate. The initiative forms part of the authority’s wider plans to develop the transport network and diversify mobility services for both tourists and residents.

The classic taxis will operate on designated routes, including services within Marjan Island and connections between Marjan Island and Corniche Al Qawasim in both directions. An additional route will run along the full length of Corniche Al Qawasim, linking key leisure and tourist areas. The authority said the routes were selected to improve connectivity while maintaining the service’s heritage character.

Daily operating hours have been set specifically for the classic taxi service, with schedules designed to match its touristic focus and visual identity.
