Commercial Venues Will Stay Open Until 2 AM During Ramadan
Commercial venues across Egypt will be able to extend their working hours to 2 AM until Eid Al Fitr.
Commercial venues across Egypt will be able to extend their working hours to 2 AM during the holy month of Ramadan and throughout Eid Al Fitr.
The decision was approved by the cabinet, in order to accommodate fasting hours, as well as Ramadan and Eid festivities.
The new working hours include retail malls, stores, cafes and restaurants. However, shops located within residential areas and specialized in maintenance services are set to close at 10 PM. Ramadan is expected to begin on March 23rd, according to The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, and the final date will be announced by Dar Al-Iftaa on March 21st.
