Construction to Begin on First Public Library in Al-Dakhla Oasis
The library in Al-Dakhla will be the latest Misr Public Library to be built throughout Egypt.
Construction will soon begin for the establishment of the first public library in Al-Dakhla Oasis in the New Valley Governorate.
Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor of the New Valley, visited the construction headquarters this weekend in preparation for the official beginning of the project. This comes after lots of work to select the most appropriate and beneficial location for the site to serve the maximum number of citizens, and work to get the necessary financial allocations approved.
The library will add to the 18 Misr Public Libraries that have already been built all over Egypt, two of which are in Cairo. The branch in Al-Zaytoun, Cairo was the first to be established in 1999.
