Dorra to Be Honoured at Inaugural Port Said Film Festival

Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk will receive an honour at the first edition of the Port Said International Film Festival, scheduled to run from September 18th to the 22nd in Port Said, in recognition of her enduring impact on Arab cinema and television over the decades. This year’s festival spotlights Tunisia as the guest of honour, reflecting the deep cultural and artistic links between Tunisia and Egypt. Dorra will also unveil her latest film, ‘Where Did We End Up’, a personal project she directed, produced and wrote. Born in Tunis in 1980, Dorra began her career in local theatre before appearing in international productions including 'Colosseum' (2003) and 'The Journey of Louisa' (2005). Her Egyptian breakthrough came with Youssef Chahine’s 'Heya Fawda' (2007), which led to major film roles in 'Ginayat El Asmak', 'Leila El Baby Doll', and 'El Mosafer' with Omar Sharif. On television, she is known for standout performances in series like 'Al Aar', 'Adam', and 'Segn El Nessa'.
