Dubai Airports Celebrate Saudi National Day With Green Festivities
Dubai Airports celebrated Saudi National Day with green-lit gates, dates, Arabic coffee, gifts, and mascots, warmly welcoming Saudi visitors and emphasizing strong ties between the two nations.
In celebration of the 94th Saudi National Day, Dubai Airports hosted a series of festive events organized by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai). The celebration aimed to honor the close bond between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
To mark the occasion, frontline officers donned sashes displaying the flags of both nations. Saudi visitors arriving at Dubai Airports were warmly welcomed by passport control officers with flowers, flags, traditional Arabic coffee, dates, and souvenirs. The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by mascots, Salem and Salama, who greeted children and families.
A standout feature of the celebration was the illumination of Dubai's smart gates in green, the iconic color of the Saudi flag. GDRFA Dubai's Director-General, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, emphasized the strong ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, noting the sense of "second home" hospitality that Dubai offers Saudi travelers.
