Macros Is the Cairo Spot Taking the Guesswork Out of Your Cheat Meal
Macros wants to end your toxic relationship with MyFitnessPal.
There are two kinds of people in this world: the ones who confidently estimate the calories in their burger, and the ones who immediately open three different nutrition apps hoping they'll all magically agree.
Macros is betting that neither should have to.
Located in Agora Mall in New Cairo, the restaurant has built its concept around one very simple idea: tell people exactly what they're eating. No detective work. No squinting at ingredient lists. No mental gymnastics trying to figure out whether adding avocado just derailed the week. Every dish comes with its nutritional breakdown already mapped out, making it easier for gym-goers, calorie counters, people managing health conditions—or honestly anyone who's just curious—to order without playing a guessing game.
The concept was founded by Omar El Fikky, who wanted to make eating for different health goals less complicated after struggling to find meals that worked for his family's varying dietary needs. The result is a menu designed to cater to different lifestyles.
The best part? It isn't all grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. Macros leans into the kind of food you'd actually crave, while taking care of the nutritional calculations behind the scenes. Because if you're going to spend ten minutes debating whether your burger fits your macros, someone might as well have already done the maths for you.
