Dubai Ambulance to Launch AI-Powered Smart First Aid Platform
A new AI-driven platform will guide residents through medical emergencies before ambulance crews arrive.
The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services is preparing to roll out an artificial intelligence–powered Smart First Aid Kit, designed as a digital platform and mobile application to guide the public through medical emergencies before professional responders arrive.
The platform is intended for both residents and visitors and will provide step-by-step first aid instructions using conversational artificial intelligence. Users will be able to describe an emergency situation or ask questions and receive clear, sequential guidance on how to respond. The service will also include explainer videos and digital simulations demonstrating first aid procedures in an accessible format.
According to the corporation, the Smart First Aid Kit will cover scenarios ranging from minor injuries to serious emergencies occurring at home, in workplaces, or in public spaces. In addition to immediate response guidance, the content will emphasise preventive healthcare and public safety to strengthen community awareness.
Given Dubai’s diverse population, the platform will support multiple languages and rely on visual and audio tools to simplify learning. The corporation also plans to integrate the system into schools, universities, and workplaces, enabling institutions to use the platform for regular first aid training.
