Dubai Marina Welcomes New Mosque Inspired by Ottoman Art
With a capacity of 1,647 people, the mosque offers a modern, inclusive space for 1,397 men and 250 women.

A newly inaugurated mosque in Dubai Marina, named after the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has opened its doors to worshippers.
Spanning 5,021.31 square meters, the mosque’s design draws inspiration from Ottoman art, blending traditional elements with contemporary architecture. It includes a spacious courtyard, ablution areas, parking spaces, and prayer halls, constructed to the highest standards. The mosque will have a capacity of 1,647 people, accommodating 1,397 men and 250 women.
Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has described it as a model for contemporary mosques. Designed to meet the needs of the community, it features accessible spaces for people with disabilities. The mosque is expected to play a central role in worship and community gatherings at Dubai Marina, especially during Ramadan.
