Dubai Police Academy Launches One-Year Cybersecurity Master’s Degree
Limited to 15–20 students, the course is designed with industry experts to meet the UAE’s growing need for cybersecurity professionals.

The Dubai Police Academy has introduced a one-year master’s degree in cybersecurity, marking the first programme of its kind among police colleges in the Arab world.
Open to UAE citizens and residents, the AED 60,000 course begins in December and focuses on policies and management, digital forensics, digital infrastructure, and research. Unlike traditional two- to three-year programmes, this degree requires just 30 credit hours to complete.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in law, security sciences, or related fields, at least five years of cybersecurity experience, and proof of English proficiency. Candidates will also undergo an academic test and interview.
Developed with input from industry specialists, the programme emphasizes practical training to meet the UAE’s growing cybersecurity needs. Graduates could find opportunities within Dubai Police’s cybersecurity division, which already leads in digital crime investigations and AI-driven threat analysis.
Registration for the first intake, limited to 15–20 students, is now open through the academy’s website.
