Dubai RTA to Auction 300 Premium Number Plates in February Online Sale

The Roads and Transport Authority will offer 300 premium vehicle number plates in its 82nd online auction, with bidding scheduled to begin on February 9th, 2026. The auction will run exclusively online for seven days and includes plates for private vehicles, classic cars and motorcycles.
The selection spans 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-digit combinations across a wide range of letter codes, including H, I, K, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z. Participation is limited to customers who hold an active traffic file in Dubai, with all successful sales subject to 5% Value Added Tax.
Registration for the auction opens on February 2nd, 2026. To take part, bidders are required to submit a refundable security cheque of AED 5,000 payable to the Roads and Transport Authority, along with a non-refundable registration fee of AED 120. Registration can be completed at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha and Deira, or through the authority’s official website.
Following the close of the auction, successful bidders must settle the full purchase amount within 10 working days. Payments can be made at authorised service centres, Customer Happiness Centres or online. Cash payments are accepted for amounts up to AED 50,000, while transactions exceeding that threshold must be completed using a manager’s cheque or credit card.
