Dubai to Launch Region's First Floating Smart Police Station by 2026
The floating SPS will operate 24/7 without human intervention, leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and robotics.
Dubai Police has announced the launch of the Middle East’s first floating Smart Police Station (SPS), set to be operational by the end of 2026. This project forms part of a strategic AED 2 billion initiative aimed at solidifying Dubai’s position as a global leader in innovation and smart governance.
The floating SPS will operate 24/7 without human intervention, leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and robotics. Offering 27 core services and 33 additional services across six languages, the station will cater to a wide range of community needs, including filing criminal and traffic reports, retrieving lost items, and processing certificates and permits.
The floating SPS is designed to meet the specific needs of yacht and boat owners, as well as water sports enthusiasts, ensuring seamless access to essential services at sea. The station will feature a user-centric design to facilitate quick and efficient boarding and disembarking for maritime visitors.
This initiative builds on Dubai Police’s innovative portfolio of smart services, which already includes Smart Police Stations, Drive-Thru Police Stations, and Walk-In Police Stations across the emirate.
