The European Union (EU) in Egypt appointed Yasmina El Abd as Goodwill Ambassador for the Team Europe Initiative for Integrated Water and Food Security, a collaboration that aims to support water management and food security in Egypt.
According to the EU, the role highlights efforts to engage youth and artists in promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices that protect natural resources and benefit local communities.
El Abd is a rising star very quickly becoming a household name. She is most popular for her work in Netflix series Finding Ola (2022), HBO series Theodosia (2022) and Ramadan series Lam Shamseya (2025).
