GCC & EU Hold Emergency Ministerial Meeting on March 5th Over Iranian
The meeting comes amid escalating tensions across the Middle East following recent military strikes and retaliatory attacks involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
Jasem Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has announced that an emergency GCC–EU ministerial meeting will take place on March 5th, 2026, bringing together foreign ministers from GCC member states and the European Union.
Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, will participate in the meeting via video conference.
According to the GCC, the council aims to urge the international community to halt the ongoing war and work toward restoring regional and global stability.
