Eco-Friendly Mega Projects are Sprouting Up Across Fayoum
The projects include the planting of 200,000 new trees, and establishing a wildlife resettlement programme at Wadi El Rayyan.
The governorate of Fayoum has implemented a number of eco-friendly mega projects to enhance its green footprint.
These projects include the planting of around 200,000 trees all over the governorate to aesthetically enliven the area, in line with the national Presidential initiative ‘100 Million Trees’ to effect afforestation.
The ‘Safe Haven for Wildlife’ initiative, meanwhile, will see efforts to improve the governorate’s biodiversity and encourage the proliferation of the area’s native flora and fauna. The initiative will see a number of endangered wildlife resettled in the Wadi El Rayyan Nature Reserve.
