Egypt Sends 48 Athletes to Compete at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
48 athletes are set to represent Egypt at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, including the likes of powerlifting champions Fatma Omar and Sherif Osman, and rising star in Paralympic swimming Zeiad Kahil.

The Olympics might be over but the Games still go on as 48 athletes prepare themselves to represent Egypt at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Powerlifting champion and four-time gold medalist Fatma Omar and captain of the sitting volleyball team Hesham Salah led the way by bearing the Egyptian flag during the opening ceremony, followed by a host of accomplished athletes looking to build on their own personal records. Among them are the likes of powerlifter Sherif Osman, who is aiming to bring him his fourth gold medal, Rehab Ahmed, a silver medalist during the Rio 2016 Paralympics powerlifting event, and Zeiad Kahil, a rising star in Paralympic swimming at 19 years old.
