Egypt Welcomed 15.7 Million Tourists in 2024
The Prime Minister confirmed that the Grand Egyptian Museum will open in 2025, aiming to attract more international visitors.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that 15.7 million tourists visited Egypt in 2024. In the cabinet’s weekly press conference, he also cited the addition of thousands of new hotel rooms, to meet the rising demand for accommodations.
Looking ahead, Madbouly confirmed that the Grand Egyptian Museum will officially open in 2025, aiming to draw more international visitors and contributing to a target of welcoming 18 million tourists that year.
