Egypt's Agricultural Exports Surge to USD 4.1 Billion in 10 Months

Over 7.1 million tonnes of agricultural products, valued at USD 4.1 billion, have been exported from Egypt during the first 10 months of 2024, according to a report by the Central Administration of Plant Quarantine. This represents an increase of more than USD 1 billion compared to the same period in 2023.
The report identified citrus fruits as the top export, with 2.280 million tonnes. Fresh potatoes followed at 975,839 tonnes, with onions in third place at 287,748 tonnes. Other exports included beans, grapes, sweet potatoes, mangoes, tomatoes and strawberries.
