Egypt's Taqa and Germany's Man Energy to Develop Green Hydrogen Plants
Their plan is to fully operate the pilot plant by the fall of 2022, helping Egypt create hydrogen out of renewable energy rather than comparatively more harmful fossil fuels.
Man Energy Solutions, a German company specialising in the production of diesel engines and heavy-duty turbo machinery for marine and stationary applications, has signed with Egypt’s Taqa Power to establish a new green hydrogen pilot project to power buses serving tourist sites in Egypt.
In a nutshell, electrolysis is the process of converting electricity into chemical energy, allowing you to create green hydrogen. Man Energy Solutions will provide technical information to Taqa Power on how to use electrolysis to create a hydrogen plant solution.
