Egyptian Mobile Operators Offer Free Calls With Earthquake-Hit Morocco
The three major mobile network operators will provide free calls after Morocco experienced its deadliest earthquake in 60 years.

In the aftermath of the earthquake that hit Morocco late September 8th, telecommunication providers Vodafone Egypt, Orange Egypt and Etisalat Misr announced their offers of free calls and text messages to and from Morocco, so that their customers can get in contact with their friends and family after the natural disaster.
Vodafone and Orange’s offers are both effective from September 10th and will last three days. Etisalat offered its customers in Morocco free calls to Egypt for one week.
The destructive 6.8 magnitude earthquake, which was followed by a 4.9 magnitude aftershock, has killed more than 2,000 people, making it the deadliest earthquake in the country in 60 years.
