Egyptian Track & Field Team Qualifies for Paris 2024 Paralympics
After succeeding in the Fazza International Championship, Egypt’s track and field team will participate in the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games.
The Egyptian track and field paralympic team has qualified for the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games, after winning five medals at the 14th edition of the Fazza International Championship in Dubai. The championship ran from February 23rd to March 1st.
Abdel-Rahman Shabib won the silver medal for the long jump, Basem Ragab Abdel Mawla won the silver medal for the javelin throw, and Abdul Aziz Hashem won the bronze medal for the 100 meters sprint. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Badr won the silver medal and Gomaa Abdel Hamid won the bronze medal in the discus throw.
The Paralympic Games will spotlight athletes with disabilities in Paris, France from August 28th to September 8th.
