Elder Square Brings Social Life & Medical Care to Dubai's Seniors
The facility’s offerings include an outpatient medical centre, rehabilitation services and various recreational activities.
Elder Square, a senior day health care centre located in Jumeirah 1, Dubai, is now serving as a community hub for adults over 60 from diverse backgrounds. Founded by Tamara Binladin, a Dubai-based expat, the centre offers a range of engaging activities alongside professional medical care, including physiotherapy, nutrition, general practice and nursing.
Motivated by her 85-year-old Brazilian uncle's declining health due to isolation, Tamara established the centre to provide seniors, especially expats, with a lively environment where they can socialise, stay active and receive necessary medical attention.
Licensed by both the Dubai Health Authority and the Community Development Authority, Elder Square is equipped with skilled professionals to deliver comprehensive care. The facility features an outpatient medical centre, advanced day care, rehabilitation services and various recreational activities. Seniors can participate in watercolour painting, language learning, clay modelling, yoga, dance, and competitive games. The centre also includes a Quiet Room for rest and a social hour for interaction, helping to combat loneliness and enhance overall well-being.
Open from 8 AM to 5 PM, from Monday to Saturday, Elder Square tailors its services to meet the diverse needs of the senior community, with plans for special summer packages underway.
