Emirates Building Systems Secures AED 225 Million in New Contracts
Emirates Building Systems will supply steel for ADNOC's Abu Dhabi project and the 82-storey Habtoor Tower in Dubai.
Emirates Building Systems, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has announced securing contracts worth over AED 225 million. Among the key projects are an advanced manufacturing plant for electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia, and buildings to support catering and laundry facilities for service company Caterion in the Red Sea area of Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, Emirates Building Systems will supply steel structures for an ADNOC gas processing and carbon capture project in Abu Dhabi, and part of the steel for the 82-storey Habtoor Tower in Dubai.
These new contracts add to ongoing projects such as a calcined petroleum coke plant in Oman and aircraft hangars for Etihad Engineering.
In response to the increasing demand for steel, Emirates Building Systems has expanded its workforce to ensure timely and quality project delivery. The General Manager highlighted the significant growth in steel demand in the Middle East and North Africa, driven by expansive infrastructure projects and economic resilience, predicting a 3.2% increase in 2024 according to the World Steel Association.
