Mohamed El-Sayed wins Egypt's first medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 21 year-old fencing champion beat out Hungarian Tibor Andraszewski to bring home the bronze!
EL-Sayed had previously competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics, losing out in the quarter final to Ukrainian and eventual bronze medalist Igor Reizlin. He also won the gold medal in the men's individual épée event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria.
