Fire Breaks Out at Construction Site in Abu Dhabi’s Al Mushrif Area

Emergency teams in Abu Dhabi are responding to a fire that broke out on at a construction site in the Al Mushrif area.

In a statement posted on X, Abu Dhabi Police said teams from the police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority were dispatched after the blaze erupted at a site containing building materials. Emergency crews remain at the scene working to contain the fire.

Authorities also urged the public to rely only on official sources for updates and to refrain from spreading rumours or unverified information while response operations continue.

The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions, with the UAE recently intercepting multiple ballistic missiles and drones launched from Iran.
