Formula E Races Moving to Jeddah for 2025 E-Prix

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will shift the location of its Saudi Arabian race from Diriyah to Jeddah for the 2025 season. Scheduled for Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Jeddah E-Prix will mark the third stop in the 17-race calendar.

Formula E, a single-seater, electrically powered motorsport series, distinguishes itself from Formula 1, which uses internal combustion engines. For its 2025 edition, the Jeddah E-Prix will be held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which also serves as a venue for Formula 1 races. This move to Jeddah introduces a brand-new track, and it will host the first doubleheader of the season.

The 2025 championship will begin on December 7th, 2024, in São Paulo, Brazil. Following that, the second race is set for Mexico City on January 11, 2025. After the races in Jeddah, the season will continue with stops in major cities including Miami, Monaco, Tokyo, Shanghai, Jakarta, Berlin, and London.

Additionally, the 2025 season will see the debut of the new GEN3 EVO race car, which will be tested in São Paulo. This car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 1.82 seconds, promising a faster and more exciting race experience for fans worldwide.
