Heavy Rain Forecast Across Egypt for Three Days Starting March 31st
Authorities are coordinating with governors as heavy rain and storms are forecast nationwide.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast across Egypt from Tuesday evening through Thursday, as unstable weather conditions affect most parts of the country.
Mahmoud El-Qayati of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority said earlier rainfall had already been recorded in Cairo and northern regions, in line with prior forecasts.
The authority indicated that conditions are expected to intensify over the coming days, with continued rainfall and thunderstorms across multiple governorates. El-Qayati said regular updates are being issued to inform the public ahead of significant weather changes.
He added that coordination is ongoing with governors to brief them on expected conditions, with any decisions on school or work leave to be determined based on local weather developments in each governor ate.
