Free Permits Issued for Ramadan Charity Tables in Cairo
Cairo Governorate is accepting applications for Ramadan charity tables, processing requests within 72 hours for free.

The Governorate of Cairo has begun accepting applications for communal street iftars during Ramadan across districts and neighbourhoods. The applications will remain open throughout the holy month of Ramadan, and will be processed within 72 hours without any fees.
Requests must be submitted to the relevant district office, which will review the proposed location to ensure it does not obstruct main squares, major streets, or government buildings such as schools and hospitals. Approved locations must meet safety and civil protection standards, maintain cleanliness and avoid disrupting traffic.
District authorities have been directed to facilitate the process for individuals, charities, and civil society organisations interested in setting up charity tables. Regular inspections will be conducted throughout Ramadan to ensure compliance with the regulations.
