Google has announced that starting May 1st, 2025, payments from services like AdSense and YouTube AdSense will transition from USD to EGP. The change was communicated through emails sent to users on October 2nd.
This transition aligns Egypt with countries like Chile, Indonesia and Jordan, where payments are already made in local currencies. Google reassured users that while the currency will change, the overall value received by creators and advertisers will remain the same.
