HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Pledges USD 100 Million in Aid to Lebanon

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has ordered an urgent USD 100 million relief package to help the people of Lebanon. The initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian support to Lebanon, and comes shortly after Israel signalled its launch of a ground invasion of southern Lebanon.

Over the past two weeks, Israeli strikes on Beirut have killed over 1,000 people and injured more than 6,000, with up to one million people displaced during this period.
