Intense Heat & Humidity to Persist Through Egypt Towards End of July
Despite the dry and hot conditions, there is a chance of light rainfall in parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, including areas such as Halayeb and Shalateen.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has forecast another day of intense heat and humidity across most parts of the country, with Cairo expected to reach highs of 40°C and southern Upper Egypt potentially hitting 45°C.
Northern regions, including the North Coast, are expected to see temperatures between 30°C and 35°C, but elevated humidity levels and strong sun will intensify the heat index.
In its latest weather bulletin, the authority warned of dense morning fog on coastal roads and highways leading to and from Greater Cairo, particularly between 4 AM and 8 AM.
Despite the dry and hot conditions, there is a chance of light rainfall in parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, including areas such as Halayeb, Shalateen and Saint Catherine. These regions may also experience wind speeds of up to 30 km/h.
The authority continues to monitor conditions closely and may issue additional warnings or updates, especially as the extreme heat continues to affect multiple governorates.
Citizens are advised to remain alert to sudden weather changes and take precautions, particularly during peak afternoon hours.
