Jebel Jais Lifts Entry Restrictions After Road Repairs
After rain damage prompted closures and entry controls earlier this season, all restrictions have been lifted with Jais Sky Tour set to reopen on February 18th.
Jebel Jais is now fully open to visitors without the need for an entry permit, restoring normal public access to the mountain’s viewpoints, outdoor attractions and dining venues. The site, which had been temporarily closed earlier this season after heavy rains damaged sections of the mountain road, initially resumed limited operations with entry controls and specific access rules while repairs and safety assessments were carried out. With restoration works completed, all restrictions have been lifted and regular access has resumed at the Ras Al Khaimah destination. Dining operations have also updated their arrangements. Guests planning to eat at 1484 by Puro, billed as the UAE’s highest restaurant, must present a confirmed reservation upon arrival. Red Rock BBQ has reopened and is receiving guests with its full a la carte menu. Beyond dining, other attractions, viewpoints and leisure experiences remain open to the public. The Jais Sky Tour will officially reopen on February 18th. It will operate from Wednesdays to Sundays and on public holidays. Visitors can plan trips to the mountain without permits while checking individual attraction requirements where applicable.
