Last Section of Cairo Metro Line 3 to Open to Public on May 15th

The last section of Cairo Metro Line 3, which connects Mohandseen with Cairo University, will be fully operational and open to the public starting May 15th.

The full line consists of 41.2 km of rail, and is made up of 34 metro stations starting at the Adly Mansour central interchange, where it also connects to the city’s larger transportation network, including the Monorail, the Light Rail Transit as well as the Bus Rapid Transit.

Line 3 intersects with Line 1 at Nasser station and with Line 2 at Attaba and Cairo University stations.
