At Al Hilal, the 26-year-old Uruguay international and former Liverpool striker joins a star-studded squad coached by Simone Inzaghi and featuring players like Theo Hernandez.

Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez has signed a three-year contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, completing a EUR 53 million transfer from Liverpool. Performance-based add-ons could push the total fee to around EUR 66 million.
The 26-year-old forward joined Liverpool in 2022 from Benfica and scored 40 goals and registered 26 assists in 143 appearances. Though he helped the team win the Premier League, his form dipped last season with just five goals in eight league starts.
At Al Hilal, Núñez joins a star-studded squad coached by Simone Inzaghi and featuring players like Theo Hernandez. The club is aiming to reclaim the Saudi league title and mount a serious challenge in the upcoming Club World Cup.
