Egyptian authorities will establish a logistics zone to receive aid for Gaza, aiming to alleviate burdens on drivers and ease congestion in Arish and on roads, while facilitating the work of the Egyptian Red Crescent, according to Major General Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha.
The governor emphasised that the zone under construction will include truck waiting areas, secured warehouses, administrative offices, and accommodations for drivers, along with essential amenities and electricity supply. Establishing the logistics zone in Rafah on the Egyptian side aims to ease burdens on drivers and congestion in Arish and on roads while facilitating the Egyptian Red Crescent's efforts in aid entry.
