Meningitis Vaccine to Become Mandatory for Travel to Saudi Arabia

Starting February 10th, travellers to Saudi Arabia will be required to receive the meningitis vaccine at least 10 days before departure.

This regulation applies to all individuals regardless of the purpose of their visit, whether it’s for business, Umrah or tourism, with a special focus on travel to key cities such as Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif. The measure, introduced by Saudi health authorities, aims to safeguard public health.
