Muslim World League Launches Global Digital Quran Initiatives
The Muslim World League launched a global forum, a new digital Quran portal, and the world’s first association for online Quran recitation platforms, with 50 entities attending the event.

The Muslim World League (MWL) has launched a series of global initiatives aimed at advancing Quranic education through digital platforms. Held at the MWL headquarters in Makkah, the event brought together 50 international entities involved in digital Quran reading and instruction.
The forum marked the inauguration of the First Coordinating Forum for Global Digital Quranic Reading Platforms and included the unveiling of a new Global Digital Quranic Reading Portal designed to support remote learning and instruction. It also witnessed the official establishment of the world’s first international association dedicated to digital Quran recitation.
Scholars, educators, researchers, and technology experts participated in the sessions, which addressed key issues such as the regulation of digital ijazah (Quranic certification), the development of online teaching tools, and the integration of new technologies into Quranic education.
