NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal aka Shaq has seemingly ‘leaked’ the 2024-2025 Abu Dhabi events calendar, including a concert by Coldplay, the MICHELIN Guide Food Festival, and various heritage festivals. The NBA Hall of Famer shared a “private and confidential” link in a post that read, “Yo @IAmSteveHarvey, I just got the inside scoop! Can’t wait to see what’s coming — this lineup is gonna be LEGENDARY!”.
In addition to Coldplay, the entertainment lineup includes the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, performances by Backstreet Boys, comedian Matt Rife, musician and composer A.R. Rahman, and music icons Maroon 5, Muse, and Eminem. The region will also host its first-ever Afterlife event featuring top DJs at the Yasalam Official After-Party. Other highlights include the NBA Abu Dhabi Games and diverse culinary experiences.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has previously collaborated with Shaquille O’Neal, NBA superstar Steve Harvey, and Emirati actor and producer Ahmed Al Jasmi to promote this season’s sports, culture, music, and entertainment events.
