New Anthem 'Jamal Al Etihad' by A. R. Rahman Celebrates Eid Al Etihad
Indian composer A. R. Rahman’s new song ‘Jamal Al Etihad’ debuts at Layali Al Wathba Theatre — a tribute to UAE’s unity ahead of National Day.
As the UAE approaches its 54th National Day this December 2nd, renowned Indian composer A. R. Rahman has unveiled a new tribute song titled ‘Jamal Al Etihad’. The track made its debut during the Sheikh Zayed Festival at Layali Al Wathba Theatre in Abu Dhabi. Rahman described the song as a “therapy of smile” — a simple, joyful homage to the UAE and the values that bring its residents together. He said the piece aims to resonate widely across the country’s diverse population: workers, entrepreneurs, expatriates, and nationals alike. ‘Jamal Al Etihad’ is among the rare English-language songs Rahman has composed, intended to reach both local and global listeners. The track was crafted to reflect the nation’s fast pace, collaborative spirit, and optimism.
