New Labour Law Sets Minimum Age at 18
The law states that it is unlawful to work under the age of 18, with some exceptions for career training.

The House of Representatives, chaired by counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, just set the minimum age for labour at 18 years old.
A recently approved labour law under article 61 states that it is unlawful to work under the age of 18, with some exceptions for career training. People are allowed to start training for a career at the age of 15 so long as they have an official training card granted by the appropriate administrative authority, and the practice does not get in the way of their educational studies. Training sessions will also not be granted if they risk one’s physical or psychological well-being.
