New Mobile App Launched for Non-Emergency Ambulance Services
The service is already operational in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and several other governorates, with plans to expand further.

The Ambulance Authority has launched a mobile application that allows users to request non-emergency ambulance services across the country. The app aims to streamline access for patients who need medical transport for scheduled check-ups, hospital visits, or transfers between healthcare facilities.
According to Authority head Dr. Mohamed Gad, the service is already operational in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and several other governorates, with plans to expand further. The app helps reduce pressure on the 123 emergency hotline and ensures ambulances remain available for critical cases.
Users can download the app from the App Store or Google Play and submit a request specifying location, time and medical need. The service is designed to serve patients with chronic illnesses, disabilities or those needing regular follow-ups.
