New Model to Track Fisheries & Marine Life Developed in Fujairah

The government of Fujairah has announced the development of a new model to track fisheries, coral reefs and marine life.
The model employs AI to analyse visual data to distinguish marine life from each other using images and videos taken in the deep sea. This in turn allows the model to accurately identify and classify marine species.
The analyses will assist researchers and policy-makers in bettering the marine ecosystems and improve the health of marine biodiversity. These analyses hope to assist policy-makers and NGOs to make more informed decisions regarding marine life.
