New Suez City to Gain Direct Access to Cairo–Suez Desert Road
The planned road will directly connect New Suez City to the Cairo–Suez Desert Road, providing the city with its own entrance.

Plans are underway to construct a dedicated road linking New Suez City directly to the Cairo–Suez Desert Road. This initiative aims to provide New Suez City with its own primary entrance, separate from the existing access points through the Suez Governorate.
Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Authority, conducted a field tour alongside representatives from the General Authority for Roads and Bridges to assess the proposed route for the new roadway. The project aligns with directives from the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities to expand the road network serving New Suez City, thereby enhancing its accessibility and supporting its strategic growth plans.
The city is situated near the New Administrative Capital and in proximity to major maritime gateways like Ain Sokhna and Adabiya ports. These locational benefits are expected to drive urban and industrial development, positioning New Suez City as a key player in Egypt's next-generation development initiatives.
The new road infrastructure is anticipated to facilitate smoother transportation, attract investment, and bolster the city's role in regional economic activities. Further details regarding the project's timeline and specific route are expected to be announced in the coming months.
