New System Will Regulate Billboards on Public Roads in New Cities
All billboards will be given a specific code through the new electronic system to facilitate monitoring procedures.

The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has recently announced a new electronic system to regulate billboards on public roads in new cities.
Under this new system, all billboards will be given a specific code to facilitate monitoring procedures.
The initiative is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to digitally transform the advertising sector in new cities, while ensuring economic and environmental sustainability for urban projects. Additionally, electronic bids for advertising rights will be introduced as part of the system to foster transparency and fair competition among advertising agencies.
Meanwhile, all billboards found in violation of regulations will be removed, and necessary legal measures will be taken.
